Jesse Gross, 65, died at his home here Thursday at 2 p.m. following a cerebral hemorrhage. Born near Pine village, he moved to the Veedersburg community at the age of nine. He spent his early life as a farmer and for the past 20 years had owned and operated a truck stop and cafe on U.S. highway 41. He was a member of the Osborn Prairie Christian Church. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Gertrude (Ward) Gross, two sons, Kenneth and Harold of Veedersburg; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy McGary of Veedersburg; and a sister Mrs. A.T.
